2020 was turned upside down with the coronavirus pandemic. We have ushered in 2021 with a huge second wave that has resulted almost everyone being affected. We all have had family members and friends affected by Covid19. My deepest sympathies to those who have lost loved ones.
Please do not drop your guard. Covid-19 is still the silent enemy that is waiting to strike. Remember to continue with social distancing, regular hand sanitisation and wear a mask!
We are still all at risk of infection and most of us will have mild symptoms. The elderly and immunocompromised need to be particularly careful as they are at risk of fatal infections.
Please contact us if you have an ENT problem that requires attention. Although we are seeing a reduction in Covid-19 infections, we will still be adhering to Covid-19 screening protocols.
I am happy to do telephonic or video consults if you are concerned about leaving your home.
Please go to the CONTACT US page for further details.
In the case of an emergency, please present yourself to the Emergency Department of Entabeni Hospital or your nearest hospital.
As an ENT specialist, I would not be of direct assistance to you in the event that you suspect that you may have Covid-19.
